Mission Statement
C&J Well Drilling Company exists to provide central Indiana with high quality wells, pumps, and related services and products in a timely, professional, ethical manner.
History
In 1996 Josh and Christy formed the company “C&J Well Drilling” primarily installing wells for “Water Wells by Wilhite”. Josh was an employee of Wilhite and was offered the opportunity to buy Wilhite’s rig and start drilling as a Subcontractor , “So that’s just what we did,” Josh remarks. “As a young man (24 yrs. old) my family encouraged me that this was a once in a lifetime opportunity to have our own business. So after a lot of thought (and prayer) we decided to take the Wilhites up on their offer.”
Since then, C&J Well Drilling has grown from its first 3 employees to as many as 18 , and have gone from one 1966 well rig to maintaining 3 additional late model rigs as well. We eventually purchased Water Wells by Wilhite and expanded our services from just drilling to encompassing all aspects of a water system.( i.e.: pump systems, water treatments, repairs and geothermal drilling as well.)
We are members of BBB, Indiana Ground Water Assoc., and the Builders Assoc. of Greater Indianapolis.
